JAZZ ON THE LAWN

The Lune Valley Vintage Jazz Band will be back at Calderbank for a new summer season this year.
With good luck and a little help from global warming we hope for some fine weather on each of the Sundays listed below.

Why not book Sunday Lunch or just come along and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a pint of local ale.

Calderbank Sessions
The Calderbank Sessions is an evening of acoustic music performed by local artistes which takes place on the second Wednesday of each month.
Artistes enjoy playing at Calderbank due to the atmosphere that is created in this intimate venue.

Navigation Courses
For the dates of new courses in 2008 click here. Basic first aid will be included in part of this course and each person passing the course will receive a certificate.
Local Countryside Rangers will run each course which will take place over a full day.

The first day will cover the basics required to read a map such as Map Symbols; Grid References;. The second day covers First Aid and using a Compass.
Starting at 8.30am with tea/coffee the course itself will start promptly at 9.00am.

The cost will include the course itself with tea/coffee, a bacon sandwich prior to leaving Calderbank and tea/coffee & sandwiches on return.
